Oil bath type, after a period of use, the filter element can be cleaned with warm water with household detergent, then cleaned with clean water, and the filter element is thoroughly dried, then immersed in engine oil, and then the excess engine oil is squeezed out. If there is too much oil in the filter element, the engine will emit black smoke at the beginning of starting. If necessary, pour out the dirty oil in the air filter, clean it with non-combustible or high-ignition detergent and dry it, and then add recommend oil to the scale line.
 
A throttle control handle is installed at the front of the engine. Generally, the throttle control handle is pushed to the left to adjust the amount of intake to control the mixing ratio of gasoline and air. The intake is too small, the oil is too thick, and the engine discharges thick Smoke or difficult to start. Too much air intake also causes the engine to ignite abnormally, affecting gas compression and unable to generate electricity normally.
 
2. Exhaust. Long-term use of the engine will also cause carbon deposits in the channel of the sound reducer, which will make the exhaust unsmooth. The carbon deposits must be scraped off and cleaned at a certain time.
 
2. oil. Fuel and lubricating oil
 
1. Fuel, generally use gasoline for automobiles, because gasoline will produce colloids and contain some other impurities during delivery and transportation. When refueling, a filter is generally installed at the fuel tank port, but in actual use, If you put a layer of medical gauze on the filter, the filtering effect is better.
 
Because gasoline is flammable and explosive under certain conditions, filling gasoline to the engine should be stopped and cooled before filling fuel in a well-ventilated place. No smoking, open flames or sparks when refueling. Fill the fuel tank and do not overflow the fuel tank (make sure there is no fuel at the fuel filler). After refilling, make sure that the fuel tank cap is closed. If fuel spills during refueling, wipe it clean and make sure that the engine is ventilated and dry before starting.
 
Generally, an auxiliary oil needle is installed on the top of the engine carburetor, and a main oil needle is installed on the bottom. The mixing ratio of fuel and air is adjusted by rotating the oil needle. The oil needle is screwed in and the oil is less, and the mixture becomes thinner; more oil is screwed out, The mixture becomes thicker. If the mixing ratio is too lean, the motive speed will be unstable; if the mixing ratio is too thick, the cylinder will emit thick smoke and the motive speed will slow down. When adjusting, first adjust the main oil needle and then adjust the auxiliary oil needle. When starting, first turn the main oil needle out 3-4 turns. After loading, slowly turn it in clockwise until the engine speed is stable. If the voltmeter is still above 5V and unstable, rotate the auxiliary oil needle, then slowly rotate it in until the speed is stable.
 
The mixture burned in the combustion chamber of a gasoline engine is required to have a rich and lean range. In order to express the rich and lean degree of the mixture, the excess air coefficient a is commonly used. That is: (excess air coefficient a-actual air volume L ÷ theoretical air volume L.), When the excess air coefficient is greater than 1, the mixture is lean, and when it is less than 1, it is rich. If it is greater than 1.4 or less than 0.4, the mixture will not be ignited.
 
2. Lubricating oil: normally use 4-stroke engine oil or high-quality engine oil that meets the SG and SF grades of the United States. It is recommend to use SAE1Ow3O engine oil. It is suitable for use under various temperature conditions. During inspection, wipe the oil dipstick and insert it into the oil filler, but do not Screw in, if the oil level is too low, inject recommend oil into the oil port. In addition, the oil grade selected for the mixed oil should be determined according to the different seasons, usually HQ1O to HQ -15 motor oil. After the lubricating oil is used for a certain period of time, the dirt caused by mechanical friction should be updated. When updating, remember to add engine oil and add engine oil to the oil dipstick to measure the capacity.

Engine ignition uses the battery to connect the starter solenoid valve through the electric starter wire to start the engine and ignite with the magneto. When using a battery for ignition, a battery above 12V/35A should be selected, and pay attention to the positive and negative poles when connecting after disassembly, and pay attention to the electric starting wiring. Connect the positive pole of the battery first, then the negative pole, and connect the ground wire to the rear end of the generator. When loosening the wiring, first loosen the negative pole, and then loosen the positive pole. If the magneto is used for ignition, attention should be paid to the platinum gap of the breaker. The contact point is burnt and stained with dirt caused by long-term on-off, which will make the gap larger or smaller. If the ignition is abnormal, the contact surface can be wiped clean with No. 0 sand paper. If the platinum opening gap is too large or too small, the minimum gap can be adjusted to 0.02-0.05mm. In practical application, a piece of ordinary cigarette shell paper can be put into the platinum opening gap, and the thickness can be dragged back and forth freely. At this time, test the ignition system outside the cylinder, the spark should skip more than 6-8mm continuously, and the spark should be purple and white.
 
4. electricity. Generator line
 
When the generator is connected to the load, it should be noted that it cannot be connected to the load that exceeds the output power, and it cannot be connected to the household circuit casually to avoid damage to the motor or fire. If the generator is not used for a long time, the output will have no electricity. If the circuit is normal, it may be that the magnetic pole remanence of the motor disappears. Four 1.5V large flashlight batteries can be used to connect, reaching about 6V. When the generator is running, connect the positive wire of the battery to the "" end of the DC output of the air-loaded bridge rectifier, and connect the negative wire to the "one" end of the rectifier.
 
5. compression, cylinder and piston
 
The compression, combustion and work process of the mixture is completed by the combined operation of the cylinder and the piston. The cylinder is a working chamber that compresses and burns the gasified mixed gas to do work. The most common problem is spark plug carbon deposits. After the engine has been used for a period of time, if it cannot be started, the cylinder can be considered dirty. First check the spark plug, remove the carbon deposits, and adjust the spark plug gap to the value specified in the gas-oil generator manual. For example, the KIPOR Cape power gas oil generator is 0.7-0.8mm(0.028-0.031n), which is approximately the thickness of a three-layer postcard. LD75 type starter generator is specified between 0.3-0.4mm. When cleaning or replacing the spark plug, tighten the spark plug first to prevent the thread from being wrong, and then tighten it with the spark plug wrench to tighten the gasket. Note that the spark plug must be tightened, otherwise it may become very hot and may damage the engine.
 
6. use. Start and stop the engine correctly

When the engine is started, turn the switch to the ON (start) position. When the engine is warm, move the choke handle to the ON position. Then set the throttle valve control handle to the desired engine speed position.
 
2. Stop the engine: If it is stopped in an emergency, turn the engine switch to the "off" position.
